Regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 (New Corona virus), which emerged in the People’s Republic of China and spread rapidly in many countries around the world and recently positive cases were encountered in our country, the Turkish Republic Ministry of Health and all relevant institutions, organizations take the necessary measures.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has also expressed its sensitivity in ensuring that the anti-doping activities around the world are taken into account in the priority consideration and implementation of measures taken at the local level, especially the health of all contributors, especially athletes.

WADA emphasized that doping controls are observed all over the world in order to prevent loss of rights that may occur in the future, by taking into account the international organizations’ calendar of athletes, in accordance with international standards and to continue the doping controls planned annually in line with the maximum attention and local measures taken.

Turkish Anti-Doping Commission, as in cooperation with our public institutions and organizations concerned and in accordance with the description and principles set out above, taken are all in parallel with the administrative decision to continue the doping controls, updates related to the subject rather will continue to be shared.
